Children’s Lit Love Review Policy

The purpose of this site is to help parents and teachers find the best books for the children in their lives. At this time, I mainly focus on picture books, early chapter books, and family chapter book read alouds. From time to time, I’ll also feature some middle elementary reviews straight from the mouths of my girls or some parenting/literacy books that have personally impacted me as a parent.

If I receive a book from an author, publisher, or publicist, I will note so in my post. I certainly don’t love, and therefore post about, every book that I receive. Above all, I want you to know that we truly love the books that you see on this website, so that you can trust our recommendations. If we are gifted a book that doesn’t resonate with us for one reason or another, I won’t recommend it.
